34 Million Budget And A New Ladder Truck For Woodstock

It's 83°F outside and the people of Woodstock have more than one reason to be happy today. Dave Soumas, the Woodstock Fire Chief, cannot contain his happiness upon learning that the Woodstock City Council approved to purchase a new ladder truck for the city’s fire department.  What they have been using was a 17-year-old Pierce ladder truck that they've had since 1997. It's a good thing they're going to have a new one because according to Dave, "...when it breaks down it’s getting expensive...” 

Another thing about the Woodstock City Council is that they've also approved the $34 million Fiscal Year 2015 budget! (More news about it here.)

These good news is just as good as the weather today! We're hoping that Woodstock and its people would continue it's luck, and receive more blessings it deserves.
