Jerry Kinsey and the rest of the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Board is proposing to build a recreation center at Haw Creek Park. This plan caused a positive feedback from the residents of the area, although report says it is not a convenient location for many of them.

The new recreation center will be placed
on the right side of the entrance of the Haw Creek Park, 2205 Echols Road in Cumming. This is going to be an awesome place to go for the future summer activities that you haven't yet planned.
There's an update about the
upgrading of the existing drainage system at the north of Spot Road at an existing creek crossing. Because of this, Gravitt Road will temporarily be closed from the 7th day of July, Monday, to 18th of July, Friday, 2014. You will need to use the detour route, at Twin Lakes Road, during this time.
