The National Alliance on Mental Illness or NAMI is offering an educational meeting today, July 15, at 7:00 PM at United Way of Forsyth, 240 Elm Street, Cumming, GA

This event is for all who have a friend or a family member who is experiencing a mental health problem. If there is first aid for all emergency medical problems, there is also a mental health first aid to which
help is provided to a person developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis resolves (Kitchener & Jorm, 2002).

You will learn about this and lots more from the resource speaker,
Mental Health First Aide's Marti Voigt. There will be refreshments and you don't need to register for this. You can contact NAMI for more information: ohughie9@att.net or 678-341-9414
